Plan Your Travel Journeys On The Go With Latest Pocket-Sized TransitLink Guide

SINGAPORE, 16 SEPTEMBER, 2014 - Updated MRT/LRT route map and bus services & Latest information on concession schemes and fares

New MRT lines, bus services, and even bus stops – want to improve your journey planning as our transport system becomes more comprehensive? Transit Link Pte Ltd (TransitLink) has just launched the TransitLink Guide 2014. The annual publication, detailing the MRT/LRT routes and bus services, is a handy pocket-sized companion that enables commuters to conveniently check routes, plan their journeys and calculate fares on the go.

The latest edition of the guide comes equipped with a handy magnifier bookmark that will make it easier to read the wealth of information within the guide.  The MRT and LRT route maps act as a useful guide to Singapore’s extensive rail system. The clearly labeled alpha-numeric codes and station names make it simple for users to mark their travel routes and boarding and alighting points.

The guide also captures the new concession fares and monthly pass prices and details the three new concession schemes, namely, the Workfare Transport Concession Scheme, Persons with Disabilities Concession Scheme and the Adult Monthly Travel Card. The purpose of each of these new concession schemes, the eligibility criteria and the application procedures are explained within this section of the guide.

The TransitLink Guide 2014 can be purchased at TransitLink Ticket Offices and Concession Card Replacement Offices from tomorrow at $5.90 per copy. More information on the TransitLink Guide 2014 and locations of TransitLink Ticket Offices can be found in Annex A.
