Your PEI Student Concession Card will expire four months after the concession validity period ends, and you will no longer be able to use it.

Extension of Concession Validity Period:
For eligible PEI students
If your course duration is more than 12 months, your PEI will extend your concession validity period on an annual basis, for 12 months or up to the end of your course, whichever is earlier.
If you drop out of your course mid-way, your PEI will inform TransitLink to terminate your concession card.
After the termination date, there is a four-month window period for you to apply for the concession card renewal through your new PEI (if any). The new PEI will inform TransitLink to extend the existing concession card validity based on your eligibility.
If your new PEI informs TransitLink after this four-month window period, the card will expire. You will then have to apply for a new concession card and bear the applicable costs.
Before the concession validity is renewed, Secondary-level and Diploma PEI students will not be able to enjoy concessionary fares or purchase Monthly Concession Passes, while Degree PEI students will not be able to purchase Monthly Concession Passes.
